Just mix some flour, water and magic fairy dust in a bowl, then wave your wand and voila! Just kidding, here's a real recipe for dosa:


Ingredients:

- 1 cup rice

- ½ cup urad dal (split black gram)

- ¼ cup chana dal (Bengal gram)

- Salt to taste


Directions:

1. Soak rice, urad dal and chana dal separately for at least 4 hours.

2. Grind them into a smooth batter by adding water as needed.

3. Mix the batter well and add salt to taste.

4. Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat and spread a ladleful of batter on it.

5. Drizzle oil on the sides and cook until golden brown.

6. Flip it over and cook for another minute.

7. Serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar.
